Amazon Kindle now has the "Kindle Cloud Reader" which is HTML5 based. This allows people with Apple products to have a Kindle book on their browsers which bypasses Apple's control and their 30% cut of all sales. The HTML5 format also gives Apple products a way to view Flash type images.
