Does your title offer 3 things? Promise, Proof and Call to Action? Diet ads have mastered this structure. This is your "hook". Now more than ever your message needs to be tight and it needs to be under 120 characters. If they don't like the title they won't read the book/article.
PLR (Private Label Rights) has grown in popularity in recent years. PLR is where you buy a writing and are able to legally label it as your own writing. In some ways it is generic ghost writing. Originally it was used to fill newsletters but is now gaining popularity in blogs and books.
McGraw-Hill is expanding "Inkling" to make textbooks interactive. This will expand the student's experience beyond just reading an eBook.
